System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Microsoft Windows 7 Professional (Installed on C: drive) Anyone know why this is happening and how I might fix it?ĭxDiag didn't find any problems. Think I'll try and uninstall it and clean up again. Location - C:\Program Files (x86)\Galax圜lient\Games\Total Annihilation I've changed the desktop resolution to 1024x768 and also set to same in game settings, but it doesn't help. After that, I used the Escalation auto-installer.

After the last cleanup and reinstall, I let gog client download and install the game. If I go into Options, there is a box flickering on screen. At times, just clicking on a unit can cause the game to crash. I cannot use the f4 key (mega-map) for the same reason. I can't use the mouse wheel, cause the game will crash. Scrolling doesn't work well and there is a lot of horizontal scan-lines after resizing, but once I hit esc-key and get to the main screen - It "seems". I tried resizing the window by dragging it up to nearly fit the screen. It will run in a small window without pixelating.

Video driver changes hasn't helped and currently using the latest nvidia driver for the gtx-750-ti.Įscalation does the same thing - Starts up fully pixelated. It runs fine, comes up full screen, but totally pixelated. The sound is fine and game doesn't actually crash. If I hit esc and go to the menu screen, it to looks pixelated - grey & white. When TA starts up it looks like swirling / patchy (grey-scale) pixelated clouds. I've read the gog version is fully patched. The game is gog package installed by gog galaxy client. I used revo uninstaller program to remove TA completely. I tried installing to different locations, but still no go. The cleanup and reinstall didn't help / work. I totally removed TA from Win 7 and cleaned up everything, including the registry. ini settings and so on, but nothing has worked. I've read the guides / help in TA folder for. I tried chaging Win 7's look to classic and etc, but that doesn't make any difference. TA used to run fine, but (if remember correctly) one day just messing around, I changed the style / look of Win 7, TA would no longer run properly.
